Day 1 – Arrival

Arrive at Kilimanjaro Airport (JRO), where a Planet Gogo Adventures representative will welcome you and transfer you to your Arusha hotel.

Kudu 6 Days Safari Itinerary

Day 2 – Tarangire National Park

After breakfast (~7:30 AM), meet your guide and head to Tarangire National Park, starting your safari around 10:00 AM. Explore the park’s vast savannahs, spotting elephants near the Tarangire River, as well as lions, giraffes, zebras, and other wildlife. Lunch will be served in boxed meals, followed by continued game drives. In the evening, check in at your lodge near Lake Manyara, overlooking the breathtaking Great Rift Valley.

Safari Tips:

  • Stay inside the vehicle except in designated areas.

  • No off-road driving; it protects the delicate ecosystem.

  • Dispose of cigarettes carefully to prevent savannah fires.

  • Avoid sitting on vehicle seat backs to prevent damage.

Day 3 – Lake Manyara

Early breakfast and travel to Lake Manyara National Park, famous for its pink flamingos and forest wildlife. Stop for lunch at Maji Moto Hot Springs, then continue your afternoon safari. Return to the lodge to prepare for tomorrow’s adventure to Ngorongoro Crater.

Day 4 – Ngorongoro Conservation Area

Depart early (~7:00 AM) to Ngorongoro Crater, a UNESCO World Heritage Site with the highest density of wildlife per square kilometer. Spot buffalo, elephants, lions, wildebeest, zebras, hippos, and, if lucky, rhinoceros. Enjoy a boxed lunch in the crater before continuing the safari and traveling to Serengeti.

Day 5 – Serengeti National Park

Explore the Serengeti, home to vast wildlife populations and the Big Five. Spot lions, elephants, giraffes, buffaloes, zebras, and possibly cheetahs and servals. The central Serengeti, Seronera, offers incredible photo opportunities and unforgettable wildlife encounters.

Day 6 – Serengeti National Park

Continue your exploration of Seronera. Your guide will take you to new spots, maximizing your chances to see rare animals like rhinos, leopards, and caracals. Every day in the Serengeti offers new discoveries.

Day 7 – Serengeti National Park

Your final day in central Serengeti provides a last chance to witness the beauty of the savannah. Visit Simba Rock, inspiration for Disney’s Lion King, and enjoy unique wildlife moments in their natural habitat. In the afternoon, start your journey back to Arusha.

Day 8 – Departure

Relax at your lodge before transfer to Kilimanjaro Airport.
