You’ll start at Lake Manyara, famous for its pink flamingos and lush forests. Next, journey to the Serengeti, home to vast savannahs, the Great Migration, and countless predators. Finally, descend into the iconic Ngorongoro Crater, one of the densest wildlife sanctuaries in Africa, where the Big Five roam freely.

Day 1 – Arrival

Your adventure begins at Kilimanjaro Airport (JRO), where a representative from Planet Gogo Adventure will warmly welcome you and transfer you to your hotel in Arusha.

Day by Day Itinerary

Safari Ranger

Day 2 – Lake Manyara National Park

After breakfast at around 7:30 AM, your safari guide will pick you up for your first game drive in Lake Manyara National Park. By 10:00 AM, you’ll already be exploring its lush forests, groundwater streams, and the famous pink flamingos stretching across the lake.

At lunchtime, you’ll stop at the Maji Moto hot springs, where you’ll enjoy a picnic lunchbox. The adventure continues into the afternoon, before heading to your lodge for dinner and rest.

Safari Etiquette Reminder:

  • Do not leave the vehicle except in designated areas.

  • Off-road driving is strictly prohibited.

  • Dispose of cigarettes responsibly.

  • Please avoid damaging vehicle interiors by standing on seats.

Day 3 – Ngorongoro Crater & Transfer to Serengeti

Start early to maximize your chance of spotting animals active at dawn. Breakfast can be packed or taken at the hotel. By 7:00 AM, you’ll be on your way to the Ngorongoro Crater, home to lions, elephants, buffalo, wildebeest, hippos, zebras, and—if lucky—black rhinos.

After a lakeside picnic lunch, you’ll continue your journey to the Serengeti National Park. Along the way, you may stop at the Grzimek memorial, dedicated to the German conservationists who helped preserve the Serengeti ecosystem.

Day 4 – Serengeti National Park (Seronera Region)

Today, explore the Serengeti, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and inspiration for Disney’s The Lion King. This endless savannah teems with lions, elephants, giraffes, buffalo, zebras, and cheetahs. Your safari will focus on the Seronera Valley, renowned for its high density of wildlife and scenic beauty.

Day 5 – Serengeti & Return to Arusha

Another morning in the Serengeti to discover new areas and wildlife. After lunch, your guide will drive you back to Arusha, where you’ll spend your final night before departure.
