Planet Gogo Adventure - Tanzania Safari Guide - 3 Lake Natron & Ol Doinyo Lengai Hike

Lake Natron & Ol Doinyo Lengai Hike

Ranked among the most unique adventures in Tanzania, Planet Gogo Adventure invites you to discover the wild beauty of Lake Natron. This 3-day journey takes you far beyond the usual safari routes, into dramatic volcanic landscapes, surreal salt flats, and the unforgettable sight of thousands of flamingos gathered along the lakeshore.

For adventurous trekkers, the highlight is an optional night climb to the summit of Ol Doinyo Lengai — the only active carbonatite volcano in the world. Though challenging, this climb rewards you with magical sunrise views over the Great Rift Valley and Lake Natron. Between treks, enjoy your stay at Lake Natron Camp, where mornings begin with golden light reflecting on the water and evenings end under skies bursting with stars.
